Statement about the coronavirus situation

We, Monterrasol Travel, would like to clarify our position regarding the services we provide in the light of the coronavirus crisis.

20 July 2021 update

15 October 2020 update

1. All our travel activities temporarily stopped following the World Health Organization (WHO) advices, due to the unability to cross the borders and being in quarantine if the border crossing happens. We closely monitors the impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) on travelers and the travel industry from trusted sources. We are concerned about your safety and health. It is important to stay home right now and follow the recommendations from the WHO and our governments.

2. By experts understanding and authorities expectations the coronavirus will be finally contained since the situation evolves rapidly and the current severe global restrictions will be finished at some point. Of course, no one knows for sure how long this will take. However, when the situation change, it gets better and travel is safe again, we will restore our services.

3. Based on strong and positive believes that the coronavirus pandemic will be over, we welcome everybody who wants to think forward and do some travel planning. There is a lot of free time while staying home these days. Use some of that leisure time for research, plan and tune the trip of your dreams.

4. We are available (online only) for any kind of assistance you might need to help you make informed decisions about your next travel plans and design your future trip. Please do not hesitate to contact us, and share what kind of trip you would like to have, which places you would like to visit, how many days, etc. We can create together the tour with customised itinerary that fit exactly your needs and wishes.

You do not need to pay us any fee for developing your itinerary. Also, you do not need to pay any money now for your future tour. There is no prepayments. At all. The payments will be only when the right time will come. We are looking forward to hear from you.

You can count on us when making travel decisions!

One more thing...
Tourism has been stopped around the world, prime destinations such as UNESCO World Heritages sites and world-class museums were forced to close. Everyone is forced into lockdown and self-isolation. Certainly, these are hard times that we are in, but you can still feed your travel inspiration and keep positive. Follow us on our social networks!

Last but not least, we would like to ask you to do your best to protect yourself and your loved ones against infection. Stay safe at home. Stay optimistic. Keep informed. Take care. Travel later.

15 October 2020 update

In the lights of current situation with ability to travel for citizens of some countries to some destinations, we want to clarify: for all people that would like to travel and can arrive to Bosnia-Herzegovina, we can provide tours all around the country.

Think about Bosnia-Herzegovina as a great example off the beaten path travels. Experience the Balkans in a safe and responsible way. You'll be totally out of the overcrowded touristy areas. You know, the safest trips are ones where you avoid other people as much as possible. A coveted destination increases your chances of getting infected and spreading COVID-19.

Follow the ideas of Slow Tourism philosophy, we consider the Bosnia-Herzegovina especially interesting destiantion in the current situation for Solo travellers and Senior travellers. All advantages of non-touristy places available all seasons are valuable during this COVID-19 situation.
