All seasons, 3-day Bosnia-Herzegovina discovery tour from Mljet (pick-up and drop off in Prapratno). Visit some of Bosnia-Herzegovina's most stunning and thrilling sites. Plenty to see and do! On the drive to Mostar after being picked up in Prapratno, we will stop at a Roman villa rustica that was built as an estate for farming in the fourth century AD. The old town of Pocitelj, which is a UNESCO Tentative List Site and serves as a living museum for Ottoman architecture, will be our next stop. It has a fort, towers, winding cobblestone streets, and viewpoints with wonderful panoramic views. Then, we'll travel to the medieval village of Blagaj, which is on the tentative list of UNESCO sites. Here, a Dervish monastery from the 15th century was built next to the spring of the crystal-clear Buna river. Then, we'll go to Mostar, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where we can explore the old town's picturesque cobblestone alleys, visit the Old Bridge and bazaar, and enjoy a vibrant nightlife.

We will visit and cross the Ottoman bridge in Konjic on the second day as we travel from Mostar to Sarajevo. We will visit the Tunnel of Hope in the captivating city of Sarajevo, which serves as one of the memorials to the siege of the capital. We'll then take a trip through the old district to view the Orthodox and Catholic cathedrals, the mosque, the synagogue, and way more! Along with all of those attractions, we'll also visit the renowned bazar, a historic Ottoman market. The capital city has a buzzing atmosphere and a thrilling nightlife as well. It is easy to understand why Sarajevo is regarded as one of the most significant multicultural cities in Europe.

We'll go to the Travnik Ottoman fortification on the third day. We will stop by the charming village of Scit, which is situated on a small peninsula in the center of a lake and is surrounded by stunning surroundings, before taking the road back to Prapratno. The peaceful Franciscan monastery and its fascinating and distinctive ethnographic museum can be seen here.

The tour will start and finish in Mljet (Croatia) and will take 3 days (2 nights). During this tour you will visit Počitelj, Blagaj, Mostar, Konjic, Sarajevo, Travnik, Šćit, Mogorjelo located in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We will pick you up at any hotel or place, in or around Mljet. Drop off is the same as pick up, or upon request in another place.

Počitelj is a small Ottoman-Mediterranean settlement, built along the Neretva river, conveniently located on the major road between Dubrovnik and Mostar. The walled town of Počitelj evolved in the period from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Architecturally, the stone-constructed parts of the town are a fortified complex, in which two stages of evolution are evident: medieval and Ottoman.

Blagaj, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Blagaj is a village in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of Bosnia-Herzegovina, located in about 15 km from Mostar, and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural built environments in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Blagaj has eleven national monuments, and is famous for the spring of the Buna river coming from cave, historical Dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, and medieval fortress Blagaj Fort, town-fortress complex built on a 310 meters high karst hill. Blagaj is also known as a residential area of Bosnian rulers and royal families.

The town is one of the oldest permanent settlements in Bosnia (dating back almost 4000 years), and home to the best preserved Ottoman bridge in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ottoman-inspired bridge (Konjička Stara Ćuprija). Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Travnik is a charming small town located 90 km northeast of Sarajevo, and it is one of Bosnia-Herzegovina's most historically important towns. The town's centerpiece is the medieval Travnik fortress, which was originally established and controlled by Bosnian rulers before the Ottoman takeover of the 15th century. The town has a cultural heritage dating from the Ottoman period, with landmarks such as the Hadji Ali-bey Mosque, the Regional Museum, and the elaborate gymnasium built in the Austro-Hungarian architectural style.

Šćit (Scit), Bosnia and Herzegovina

Scit is small village located in central area of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The village location is notable because it's fully placed on the peninsula located in the middle of artificial lake. Scit is famous for Franciscan monastery built in the 15th century and very specific locality.

Mogorjelo is site and location of a Roman villa rustica that dates from the early fourth century. The villa area is surrounded by a park. The site is protected by the state and is a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
