Welcome to discover Bosnia-Herzegovina in this all seasons 4 days tour from Dubrovnik. Visit fortresses, monasteries, old towns and cave.

After entering Bosnia-Herzegovina, we going to see old fortress Stolac, archaeological site Radimlja with carved gravestones (UNESCO World Heritage Site) and at the end of day will arrive to Mostar. In Mostar (UNESCO World Heritage Site) we will see historical center and famous Mostar bridge.

In the area of Mostar during the next day we will visit medieval town Pocitelj, will come to Mogorjelo, a real Roman villa Rustica, established as agricultural estate in 4th century AD; come to natural park Kravica with waterfalls, and finish the day with visiting pilgrimage center Medugorje. On the next day we need to see Blagaj monastery and Vjetrenica cave; this day we will finish in Trebinje, with a dinner in family running winery where will try famous Herzegovina wines. Next day we will come to old Orthodox monastery Tvrdos, and taste there genuine Herzegovina wines from monastery cellar. After we will come to Trebinje cathedral, see Ottoman bridge, and before to take road back, will have lunch in local restaurant.

At the summer season, before return back to Dubrovnik, we will stop on a beach to refresh in the Adriatic sea.

The tour will start and finish in Dubrovnik (Croatia) and will take 4 days (3 nights). During this tour you will visit Stolac, Radimlja, Mostar, Počitelj, Mogorjelo, Kravica, Međugorje, Blagaj, Vjetrenica, Trebinje, Tvrdoš located in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

We will pick you up at any hotel or place, in or around Dubrovnik. Drop off is the same as pick up, or upon request in another place.

Overall, with this tour you will visit 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites and 3 sites from the UNESCO Tentative List (sites that were submitted to the World Heritage Committee, and are awaiting to consider for nomination, and therefore suitable for inscription on the World Heritage List).

Stolac and surroundings have been inhabited since ancient times due to the area's favorable natural environment. The rich grounds along with other natural benefits attracted prehistoric man, and later the Illyrians, Romans and Slavs, all of whom left a wealth of anthropological evidence. The area has been settled for at least 15,000 years.

Radimlja, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Radimlja is a main UNESCO World Heritage Site where is possible to see so called Stecci, a monumental medieval tombstones. Radimlja necropolis located near town Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is one of the most valuable monuments of the medieval period in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mostar, beautiful and historical town, located only 60 km away from the Adriatic Sea, is the cultural, political and financial center of Bosnia-Herzegovina. The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia-Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans.

Počitelj (Pocitelj), Bosnia and Herzegovina

Počitelj is a small Ottoman-Mediterranean settlement, built along the Neretva river, conveniently located on the major road between Dubrovnik and Mostar. The walled town of Počitelj evolved in the period from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Architecturally, the stone-constructed parts of the town are a fortified complex, in which two stages of evolution are evident: medieval and Ottoman.

Mogorjelo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Mogorjelo is site and location of a Roman villa rustica that dates from the early fourth century. The villa area is surrounded by a park. The site is protected by the state and is a National Monument of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Kravica, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Among the most fascinating natural features of this region are the sparkling waterfalls of Kravica, tucked away in the trees, on the Trebižat River, in the karstic heartland of Herzegovina in Bosnia and Herzegovina, about 40 km from Mostar. Međugorje (Medjugorje), Bosnia and Herzegovina

Blagaj is a village in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of Bosnia-Herzegovina, located in about 15 km from Mostar, and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural built environments in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Blagaj has eleven national monuments, and is famous for the spring of the Buna river coming from cave, historical Dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, and medieval fortress Blagaj Fort, town-fortress complex built on a 310 meters high karst hill. Blagaj is also known as a residential area of Bosnian rulers and royal families.

Vjetrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Vjetrenica (the wind cave) is the largest and most important cave in Bosnia-Herzegovina, is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and one of the most important caves in the Dinaric Alps mountain range, which is famous worldwide for its karstic and speleological richness. It is a real treasure in biodiversity. Also, it is the home to the famous olm (cave aquatic salamander) and houses beautiful cave formations as well.

Trebinje, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Trebinje, the southernmost city in Bosnia-Herzegovina and one of the most beautiful cities in the country, is the economic and cultural center of the region of Eastern Herzegovina. Its Ottoman walled Old Town together with the Arslanagic Bridge (which is one of the most attractive Ottoman-era bridges in Bosnia-Herzegovina) are the most visited tourist attraction in Trebinje.

Tvrdoš (Tvrdos), Bosnia and Herzegovina

Known for winery, orthodox monastery

The famous monastery Tvrdos, located about five kilometers from Trebinje, dates back to the Middle Ages and it is believed that it was founded by the Czar, Saint Constantine, and his mother Saint Helen. The Tvrdos monastery is renowned for its wine production and its wine cellars, with possibility to wine tasting.
