On the way from Zagreb down to coast we will visit Dubovac fortress and see Sokolac castle. The first Dalmatian town we'll meet is Senj, where need to see historical center and the symbol of the town, Nehaj fortress from 1558. Next, we will move to Zadar to walk over historical center and see why Zadar was important Venetian town. In Sibenik, another Venetian town, we will see famous cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage site) and see its historical center. In another one Venetian town, Trogir (UNESCO World Heritage site), we will walk in historical center and harbor. Split, next Dalmatian town we going to visit, is well-known for its ancient center and beautiful architecture. On the way to Mostar (UNESCO World Heritage site) we will have a dinner in local restaurant at rare place, a real Roman villa Rustica, established as agricultural estate in 4th century AD. We will explore the historic center of Mostar and walk over famous Mostar bridge. On the way to Dubrovnik we will visit historical town Blagaj with dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, small Zavala monastery partially located in cave, taste real Herzegovina wine from family running winery in Trebinje, and admire famous Tvrdos orthodox monastery with it own wine cellar. The tour will start in Zagreb (Croatia) and tour finishes in Dubrovnik (Croatia), and will take 7 days (6 nights). The Old Bridge, built by the Ottomans in the 16th century, is one of Bosnia-Herzegovina's most recognizable landmarks, and is considered one of the most exemplary pieces of Islamic architecture in the Balkans. Blagaj, Bosnia and HerzegovinaKnown for architecture, bridge, cave, fortress, landmark, museum, river, viewpoint, islam monastery; monastery is a UNESCO Tentative List Site Blagaj is a village in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of Bosnia-Herzegovina, located in about 15 km from Mostar, and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural built environments in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Blagaj has eleven national monuments, and is famous for the spring of the Buna river coming from cave, historical Dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, and medieval fortress Blagaj Fort, town-fortress complex built on a 310 meters high karst hill. Blagaj is also known as a residential area of Bosnian rulers and royal families. Zavala, Bosnia and HerzegovinaKnown for orthodox monastery An important and historical Serbian Orthodox monastery located in the village of Zavala, approximately 50 km from Trebinje (Republika Srpska). Along with Zitomislic (located near Mostar) and Tvrdos (near the city of Trebinje), Zavala is one of the most prominent monasteries in East Herzegovina.
