Off-season discovery Bosnia + Montenegro 6 days tour will pass through 2 neighbors countries of Croatia: Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro. Pick up and drop off in Orebic. During this multi-day tour we will visit main attractions of both countries include 3 UNESCO World Heritage sites: Mostar, Radimlja, and Kotor.

In Bosnia-Herzegovina we will visit Blagaj dervish monastery, walk in UNESCO town Mostar and its old bridge, and next day will visit pilgrimage center Medjugorje, watch wonderful waterfalls in Kravice natural park, and climb by narrow streets of medieval fortified town Pocitelj. Next, we will move toward Trebinje, passing UNESCO World Heritage site Radimlja with unique graved tombstones, admire panoramic view from the hill located Stolac fortress, visit Tvrdos monastery, and take a rest in Trebinje, the southernmost Bosnia-Herzegovina town.

In Montenegro, we must see 17th century Ostrog monastery, carved almost entirety in a vertically positioned mountain cliff. The night we will spend in Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. After sleep in Podgorica, we will visit monastery Dajbabe which was built within a natural cave. Our next destination is coastal town Budva, where we will walk over its narrow medieval streets.

At next day after sleep in Budva we will visit UNESCO town Kotor, full of spirit of Venetian empire. If we're strong enough to survive climbing 1350 steps to a height of 1200 meters, we will be awarded to visit Kotor Fortress or otherwise known as The Castle of San Giovanni. If we can do it, we will admire amazing views over the city and harbor. On the way back, we will pass few nice beaches so at summer time we always can stop and refresh in crystal clear water of Mediterranean sea.

The tour will start and finish in Korčula (Croatia) and will take 6 days (5 nights). During this tour you will visit Blagaj, Mostar, Međugorje, Kravica, Počitelj, Radimlja, Stolac, Tvrdoš, Trebinje, Ostrog, Podgorica, Dajbabe, Budva, Kotor located in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro.

We will pick you up at any hotel or place, in or around Korčula. Drop off is the same as pick up, or upon request in another place.

Overall, with this tour you will visit 4 UNESCO World Heritage sites and 3 sites from the UNESCO Tentative List (sites that were submitted to the World Heritage Committee, and are awaiting to consider for nomination, and therefore suitable for inscription on the World Heritage List).

Blagaj is a village in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of Bosnia-Herzegovina, located in about 15 km from Mostar, and is one of the most valuable mixed urban and rural built environments in Bosnia-Herzegovina. Blagaj has eleven national monuments, and is famous for the spring of the Buna river coming from cave, historical Dervish monastery (tekija) built around 1520, and medieval fortress Blagaj Fort, town-fortress complex built on a 310 meters high karst hill. Blagaj is also known as a residential area of Bosnian rulers and royal families.

Počitelj is a small Ottoman-Mediterranean settlement, built along the Neretva river, conveniently located on the major road between Dubrovnik and Mostar. The walled town of Počitelj evolved in the period from the 16th to the 18th centuries. Architecturally, the stone-constructed parts of the town are a fortified complex, in which two stages of evolution are evident: medieval and Ottoman.

Radimlja, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Radimlja is a main UNESCO World Heritage Site where is possible to see so called Stecci, a monumental medieval tombstones. Radimlja necropolis located near town Stolac, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and is one of the most valuable monuments of the medieval period in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Stolac and surroundings have been inhabited since ancient times due to the area's favorable natural environment. The rich grounds along with other natural benefits attracted prehistoric man, and later the Illyrians, Romans and Slavs, all of whom left a wealth of anthropological evidence. The area has been settled for at least 15,000 years.

Tvrdoš (Tvrdos), Bosnia and Herzegovina

The famous monastery Tvrdos, located about five kilometers from Trebinje, dates back to the Middle Ages and it is believed that it was founded by the Czar, Saint Constantine, and his mother Saint Helen. The Tvrdos monastery is renowned for its wine production and its wine cellars, with possibility to wine tasting.

Budva, Montenegro

The old Mediterranean port of Kotor is surrounded by fortifications built during the Venetian period. The fortified city of Kotor is UNESCO World Heritage Site.
