Sergiyev Posad is the only city in the Moscow region that is on the Golden Ring. An excellent destination since is home to one of the most revered monasteries in Russia.

The town's main attraction is the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius, an UNESCO World Heritage Site, which is home to almost fifty ancient and historically significant white-stone buildings, and has enough to keep you busy for days.

Founded in 1337, the Trinity Lavra of St. Sergius is undeniably the major draw for the city and the symbol of Russian Christianity.
